The New York Times/Bank Street Collaboration

The New York Times/Bank Street Collaboration is a professional development activity designed to provide teachers and staff developers across several states with a developmental approach to engaging children, youth, and adults in a broad range of learning opportunities using The New York Times as a curriculum tool. Stevens/Bank Street Project

The Stevens/Bank Street Project is a collaboration with Stevens Institute of Technology and several teacher education institutions in Miami, Cleveland, and Phoenix to incorporate the SavvyCyber Professor into their pre-service teacher education curriculum. This year the project is focusing on the implementation of a PT3 grant, the Pathways to Teaching. Davia Brown-Franklyn, Director, 212-961-3371.

Developing a Master Student Program

"Developing a Master Student Program" is a professional development, turn-key training opportunity designed specifically for the staff and faculty of Gear Up programs. DMS helps to support and sustain Gear Up programs to meet the needs of the highest at risk population of students needing services. The curriculum resources are guides for facilitators and have been tailored to meet the needs of middle and high school students transitioning into college. The DMS Program is a collaboration with the New York State Department of Education and HESC.

The Liberty LEADS Program

Liberty LEADS provides leadership, college preparation, academic enrichment, and career development to 300 youth from fifth through twelfth grade in a social and supportive environment via its after school, Saturday, and summer programs. Our center enables underrepresented students from public and private schools to prepare themselves for admission to community, state and Ivy League colleges as well as for meaningful employment upon graduation from high school. After-School Education

After-School Education provides a repertoire of creative curriculum and instructional strategies with which to engage children and adolescents in over fifty after-school programs. This is a collaboration with The After School Corporation, Partnership for After School Education, and several community-based organizations. Marnie Ponce, Director, 212-961-3432.

Queens Cultural Partners

Queens Cultural Partners is a collaboration between the Partnership for After School Education (PASE), Bank Street College, NYC Public Schools/Region 3 and four cultural institutions in Queens.
