Dean of Children's Programs Search

Rudy Jordan is retiring after 15 years of outstanding leadership of Children's Programs at Bank Street. To meet the challenge of finding a successor to Rudy, a representative search committee has been formed and is led by Laura Guarino, our Lower School Coordinator. Working with Bruce Galbraith and Agnes Underwood of Carney Sandoe Associates, the first phase of the search is now underway. The Carney Sandoe team has conducted a series of meetings to solicit opinions from the various constituencies of the school - faculty, staff, parents, alumni and trustees. Focusing on the values, mission and unique attributes of Children's Programs at Bank Street, a position description has been developed and public announcements made.

The search committee will meet throughout the months of May and June, work will continue into the summer, and semi-finalists will be invited to campus for interviews in the fall. The search committee is fully committed to developing a strong and diverse national candidate pool which will result in an outstanding new leader for Bank Street.
