Introduction to Accreditation Seminars

During this seminar, participants learn the nitty-gritty of NAEYC Accreditation. The New NAEYC Standards and Criteria, adopted by the Academy in December 2005, define the components of a high-quality early childhood environment for children, families, teachers, and administrators. The accreditation seminars focus on why accreditation is important and how to begin the quality improvement process. They also address how Quality New York can help your program in this process.

Introduction to Accreditation Seminars take place at various locations in NYC, hosted by the Quality New York partnership. These seminars are open to any individuals interested in learning more about the benefits of becoming an NAEYC-accredited early childhood center and about the accreditation process.
