The book informs parents of the many satisfactions often encountered amidst ever-changing cultural backgrounds, social struggles, and developmental shifts.
From politics to social sciences, Jennifer Senior writes with authority and curiosity about the world around her. She is a versatile writer who takes on many assignments in her role as contributing editor at New York Magazine. She is a frequent guest on NPR and appears on television shows such as Charlie Rose and Anderson Cooper 360.
Jennifer will be in conversation with Kyla Kupferstein Torres, Director of Admissions for the Hunter College Campus Schools. Together they will answer questions while discussing the unique pressures of parenting in New York City. She will sign copies of her book after the event.
