A gift to the Graduate School Annual Fund helps Bank Street educate quality teachers for all children. These annual fund monies are used for graduate student scholarships to help make a Bank Street education more affordable for everyone.
Never has your gift been more critical. There is an overwhelming need for scholarships for incoming students. The College has learned that the availability of scholarships is becoming more and more the determining factor of a student's ability to pursue a Bank Street education.
Time and again alumni claim, "Bank Street changed my life." Alumna Jane Geiger Wyatt '75 says, "There's nothing that I didn't learn at Bank Street twenty-five years ago. It was all there. I realize with each passing year how fortunate I was to have this enriching experience at such a formative point in my career." Another alumna, Nancy Shea '62 adds, "Looking over my career, I owe a lot to Bank Street. They made me what I am."
Some alumni choose to make a huge impact in their giving by joining the President's Council with a gift of $1000 or more. Each one of the members of this special group of Bank Street alumni has made a leadership gift and has indicated a particular interest in the work of the College.
Strong alumni support is critical to the College's ability to continue its mission of educating teachers. Strong alumni support can make more scholarships available to deserving, but needy students. And, strong alumni support goes a long way in ensuring the value of your Bank Street degree because it will keep the College academically and fiscally sound.
