Recognized for its innovative leadership in graduate education, Bank Street College offers awide range of master's degree programs that prepare educators for work in schools and other educational settings. Most of our programs lead to New York State certification in teaching, in special education, in reading and literacy, or in educational leadership. Other programs include Museum Education, Infant and Parent Development and Early Intervention, and Child Life.

Graduate students at Bank Street College learn to integrate theory from seminar-based graduate classes with hands-on field experiences in school, museum, or hospital settings. During the advisement process, graduate students build close relationships with advisors who have had long careers as practitioners in the field.
