Bank Street students who are in programs leading to New York State teaching certification must complete two workshops before graduating and applying for certification:
These workshops are offered each semester at no cost through New Perspectives, part of Bank Street's Division of Continuing Education.
Workshops fill up early; pre-registration is required. To reserve a spot in a workshop, students need to register through the New Perspectives Office. The advisor's signature is not required, and the fee for the course will be waived. For more information, please contact the New Perspectives Office at 212-875-4649.
Please note: There is a $15 fee for changing the section for which a student is registered; any changes must be made in writing at least 24 hours before the class begins. If a student does not show up for the workshop, it will be noted on his or her official transcript.
