COS (pronounced cuz) is the Bank Street College graduate student organization. Members meet regularly to work on issues pertaining to the quality of student life at Bank Street. One of our goals is to do good work and participate in productive dialogues: among the student body, within the Bank Street community, and beyond. COS sponsors and organizes educational and professional development activities for students as well as social events.

TBA
Over the past few years, students who attended COS meetings have brainstormed ways of building more community, including holding themed meetings. Some proposed themes: GLBTQ issues at Bank Street; concerns of students of color; learning more about Bank Street's community involvement and finding out how graduate students can become more involved; and dialoguing with faculty.
Another popular suggestion was holding free workshops given by BSC alumni and students. What topics would you like to see addressed? We hope that we will have many opportunities to do good work and participate in productive dialogues, among the student body, within the Bank Street community, and beyond. We are always open to any input and feedback.

FAQ
COS was able to use feedback from a number of current Bank Street students to write a simple Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Web page. Topics range from low-cost health insurance to help with graduation requirements.
Student Survey
Each year, COS distributes a survey to students to facilitate input and provide an additional voice for students. This survey is our attempt to better understand and respond to student needs. What would you like is to ask about? E-mail cos@bankstreet.edu.
