Elective credits may be taken at any time during the program. Popular electives include LEAD 560: Literacy and Leadership (offered in Summer 1), LEAD 871: Special Education Leadership I: Implementation of IDEA and LEAD 872: Special Education Leadership II: Leading Inclusive Communities of Learners (times vary), and LEAD 514N: Staff Development (offered over two spring weekends through New Perspectives). Students sometimes take courses through other leadership programs (with special permission) and through General and Special Education.

You may begin your program in any term, and you may complete the requirements in more or less time than a particular chart indicates.
