At the time of registration, students become liable for the full cost of the courses and fieldwork for which they have registered. Liability is the same whether students opt for deferred payment or whether they make full payment at registration. When students drop or withdraw from courses, requests for tuition refunds are considered according to the date the completed request form is received in the Registrar's Office. Registration fees are not refundable. The refund schedules below apply. Refunds for courses which meet in unusual calendar configurations will be handled individually.
Refund Schedule for Fall and Spring classes:
For classes that are two, three, four, or six credits:

In the summer terms, a modified refund schedule, which is specified in the Summer Bulletin, is implemented. In each term, refunds for those courses that meet in unusual calendar configurations will be handled individually.
Title IV recipients attending Bank Street College may be eligible to receive a refund amount calculated according to the following formula: the portion of the period completed divided by the length of the payment period (if greater than 60%, assume 100%) multiplied by Title IV Aid disbursed, including the amount of awarded Title IV Aid that could have been disbursed if the student established eligibility for the funds prior to withdrawing. Unearned amounts allocable to Title IV, HEA Programs will be returned in the following order: William D. Ford Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans, William D. Ford Federal Direct Subsidized Loans, and Perkins Loans.
