The PC and MAC labs are located on the first floor of the main building at 610 West 112th Street. The lab hours are:
Mon - Thurs 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Fri - Sat 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
What computers and hardware is in the lab?
The PC lab was upgraded in the Summer of 2005 and contains 15 Dell GX 620 machines with 15 inch flat screens. Each machine has the ability to write CDs and is running Windows XP.
The MAC lab was upgraded in the Summer of 2006 and has 15 iMAC Flat Panel computers. Each machine has 1 GB memory, has the ability to write CDs, and is running OSX. These machines are perfectly suitable for standard word processing, as well as some multimedia development.
In the PC lab, all the computers are running win XP Pro along with the standard set of applications on all the College computers. Additional specialized software is listed below:

If there is software not listed that you would like to use in the class, please contact the Helpdesk and we will work with you on purchasing and installation.

How can I get help using the applications in the lab?
There is a great deal of applications documentation available on the Helpdesk Website.

When are the BEST times to use the labs?
From 9AM - 3PM, the School for Children primarily occupy the labs. After 3PM, graduate students have more availability in the lab.
