Position Vacancy - Bilingual Special Instructors (per diem)

Responsibilities

Seeking bilingual special instructor to provide home/community based services to the birth-three year old population. Plan and implement educational goals according to the IFSP. Ensure ongoing communication with parents and therapists regarding educational treatment of child. Attend IFSP/team meetings as needed. Responsible for daily session notes and quarterly/annual progress reports.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in special education
• Must be bilingual in two languages (Spanish a +)
• Knowledge of EI regulations (including the new FAP initiative)
• At least 2 years experience in working with the birth-3 population
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Start Date      Immediately

Salary:           Dependent on experience
