Assistant Director - Maxine Roberts   Maxine Roberts, a graduate from Mount Holyoke College, obtained a Computer Science degree and worked as a software developer for more than two years.  In 1998, she decided t enter the field of Education, and attended Columbia University's Teachers College to obtain a Master's degree in English Education.  After graduating and serving as a Program Director for an all-girls after school program in East Harlem, Maxine decided to focus her talents towards helping high school students achieve academic excellence. She joined the I-LEAD Program during its inception in 2000. In addition to serving as an Academic Advisor, she is furthering her studies at Bank Street College of Education in the area of Reading and Literacy Specialization.
