Mildred Carrillo has over 10 years of experience in derivatives sales & trading. Currently, she is Vice President of Trading Credit Risk Management for ABN AMRO Bank. She supports the fixed income derivatives business, with a focus on financial institutions, hedge funds, energy companies and Mexico. In that capacity, she negotiates contracts for complex, structured transactions (swaps, FX, credit derivatives, and commodities derivatives). Ms. Carrillo has also worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co., Lehman Brothers and CDC IXIS Capital Markers North America, in similar capacities. Ms. Carrillo began her career on Wall Street in information technology where she developed and implemented application systems, and managed a help desk.

In addition to serving on the Corporate Advisory Board of I-LEAD, Ms. Carrillo serves on the Board of Directors for 100 Hispanic Women, and The Ghetto Film School.  She was recently appointed to Director-at-Large for the Alumni Association Executive Committee of Wesleyan University, and most recently, completed her term as chairperson of the New York alumni club where she organized events for alumni, parents, and faculty, and raised money for scholarships.  She served on the Board of Directors of the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens for ten years, chaired the Goldman Sachs Hispanic Heritage Month committee, and served on the Board of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA NY Chapter) as Director of Fundraising.  In her fundraising career, she raised close to $1,000,000.

Ms. Carrillo earned her bachelors degree from Wesleyan University in Math & Computer Science, with a minor concentration in Physics. She was a recipient of A Better Chance high school scholarship.
