Stephen McGuinness is the head of Sales for North America in the Equity Division at Goldman Sachs.  Prior to that, Steve was the Chief of Staff in FICC for most of 2002.  He joined the firm in 1992 as a manager for the Bank Loan Distribution Group, then moved on to become co-global head of that group in 1998.  He moved to London in 2000 and worked as a co-head of European Fixed Income Sales.  Steve became a Managing Director in 1997 and a partner in 2000.  Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he was a Vice President at Citicorp.  Steve received MBA and BS degrees from Fordham University in 1991 and 1982.  He and his wife, Anne, live in Westchester County, New York with their four children.  Steve serves as the Chair of the Advisory Board of the Insitute for Leadership, Excellence and Academic Development (I-LEAD).
