Overview
The activities and programs that the scholars participate in during their summers are an essential part of expanding their horizons and enabling them to explore their academic interests, develop presentation skills such as public speaking, and participate in experiences that will allow them to compete effectively for entry to selective colleges.
Entering 10th grade scholars begin the I-LEAD experience by participating in a three week residential Summer Institute. While scholars who are completing 10th and 11th grade are required to apply to a variety of independent Summer Experiences that allow them to travel abroad, take college courses and develop leadership skills.
