What I Love About New York

Nightclubs

In New York there are nightclubs were people over 18 can have fun and dance and listen to music, etc. They are open all night.

A Dog Run

A dog run is where dogs go to exercise becasue the city doesn't have open places for dogs. In a dog run the dogs don't have to be on a leash.

Rockefeller Center

This is Rockefeller Center skating rink. You can go ice skating there but it costs a lot of money.

Shake Shack

This is a picture of the Shake Shack, where you can get burgers, French fries, milkshakes, and many other things. All of the food tastes really good. It is in the park and there are two sand pits with grass all around everything.

Taxi

This is a taxi. In NYC you use taxis to get wherever you?re going. The taxi can go basically anywhere, but most people just use it to get around New York. To ride in a taxi, you have to go to the edge of the street, stick your hands out in the air, and really soon you?ll see a taxi coming your way. The thing on top of the taxi tells you if the taxi has someone in it or not. If the numbers are lit up it means there is not somebody in it. If the lights are not lit up, it means there is somebody in it.

The Subway

The subway is a way of transportation. It is generally underground but it goes above ground. There are different trains that go different places. Each train has ten cars. The subway goes to different stops, six to twelve blocks away. Some trains go uptown, downtown, crosstown, or diagonal.

Lots of things

1-Subway?s a sandwhich stop that I don?t like but it tastes ok. 2-The Empire State Building is one of the biggest tourist attractions in all of New York. It is a huge building but not all buildings here are big. Some are even tiny. 3-The Hard Rock café has good food and you can watch music videos. 4- That?s an apartment building. It is a place where lots of people live. 5- Toys R Us is a huge toy stores. You can play video games. It also have a ferris wheel. 6- Starbucks is a coffee shop but it sells other things too like doughnuts, chocolate milk, cookies, and lots of other drinks. 7- Loews is a movie theater. I love going there to see movies and chilling out in the seats. 8-New York Sports Center is a place where you can play sports like football, baseball, and soccer. 9-Candy shops are everywhere and you can buy candy.

Trump Tower

What I like about New York is the skyscrapers. I love the taxis, too. What you see here is the Trump Tower. Donald Trump is the owner. He is very rich. There are many different, other skyscrapers in New York. Taxis are small yellow cars that pick you up and take you where you need to go. To get a taxi, you have to raise your hand. There are a lot of office buildings in New York, too. I love New York city.

Hot Dog Stands

I love hot dog stands. Hot dog stands are really easy ways to get hot dogs. You can just walk out of the park and buy one. They sell hot dogs.

The Library

I love New York libraries because no matter what book you?re looking for you can always find it. Public libraries are nice because you can take out tons of books at a time. It is always fun to go to a bookstore too, where you can buy more books. In libraries you can just sit down and read a book, or you can check it out, run home and read it. Libraries are really cool.

Game Stop

I love Game Stop so much. I go there every three weeks. I have a PS2. Game Stop has Xboxes, PS2?s GameCubes, and they have a new system called Xbox 360, and the year-old GameBoy DS. My favorite game to buy there is Sonic the Hedgehog games and DragonballZ.

Toys R Us

This is a place called Toys R Us. It is in Times Square. Times Square is a big place with a lot of people. Times Square has a lot of signs everywhere. Toys R Us is a toy store that a lot of people go to. It has a lot of big things inside. It has a really big dinosaur and a ferris wheel.

Chelsea Piers

This is Chelsea Piers. There is a bowling place there. Then, to keep your score there?s TV?s that put the first letter of your name. Then there?s a line separating the letter and your score. You can do a lot more things there, like an arcade. But my favorite thing to do there is go bowling.

Nuts 4 Nuts

Nuts 4 Nuts is kind of like a hot dog stand except they sell sugar covered nuts. They sell almonds, coconuts, and peanuts, my favorite. They have stands all over New York. I only go there once every two months. They are really good.

Shopping

This is a picture of me downtown on 42nd St. I am right in front of Macy?s. In Macy?s they are having a sale on clothes. A sale is where the prices get lower. I have two bags in my hands. The blue one is Gap and the other is Macy?s. I love New York because of the shopping.

The 4th of July

This is a picture of the 4th of July. I love the 4th of July, because it celebrates America?s birthday and there are a lot of colors. They are on a river and they shoot fireworks off the boats. There are places near the river where you can sit and watch.

42nd Street

This is a picture of 42nd St. It is really busy there. At 42nd St. There are a lot of lights. They also have two movie theaters. New Victory has plays you can see. The wax museum has a lot of famous people made out of wax, but they look real. They sometimes look so real that it scares me. Modell?s is a baseball store. It is really cool. If you like baseball, you might like Modell?s. At Skechers there are so many shoes. On TV they have an ad where kids eat shoes. I think it?s so gross when the kids eat the shoes. At Broadway you can also see plays. Subways are very useful for getting places. There are subways all over the place in New York.

New York, New York

42nd St.-Otherwise known as Times Square has a wide variety of shops and attractions. A main crowd pleaser is Toys R Us. Complete with giant ferris wheel and candy land. I must warn you, Times Square is the easiest place in the world to get lost. Taxis- taxis are dingy smelly and dirty. They take you from place to place and come in handy. Cinema-ah the cinema! One of my favorite places to catch a good flick. The drinks and beverages are simply horrible and very unhealthy, too. Subway-homeless people wandering around, people playing various instruments for money, trains rattling around on the track, it?s like the heart and soul of Manhattan.

Infinite New York

New York has loads of possibilities. New York goes on and on like space. If you come here, you'll never be able to see the whole thing. My picture shows some of the fun things to do and look at in New York.
