- Alfred University: High School Academic Institute
- High school students get a taste of college life as they live in Alfred's dormitories and take classes with university professors. They have the opportunity to meet with admissions staff and to participate in athletic and recreational activities.

- Barnard College, Summer in New York: A Pre-College Program
- Many of the classes that make up this program are adapted from the Barnard College undergraduate curriculum. Classes are small; students receive individual attention, engage in lively discussion, and develop independent projects. Students enroll in two classes, which meet four days a week in morning and afternoon sessions. New York City often becomes an extension of the classroom; in an art history course, for example, students make regular trips to museums and galleries.

- Brown University Pre-College Programs
- Brown's Pre-College summer program is more than classrooms and laboratories. It's about the true college experience: residential, social and academic. Pre-college students live in our dorms, work with our faculty, and find out what life in the Ivy League is really like. You'll have a genuine college campus experience - with the added fun of summer in Providence, Rhode Island.
Seven-week or Mini-Course: Brown's Pre-College Summer Program offers two types of courses: Seven-week and Mini-courses. Both options offer students unique classes, excellent faculty and a complete residential Ivy League experience, but they are structured differently to accommodate different needs.

- Bryn Mawr Summer Programs
- Writing for College: A Writing Intensive Summer Program for High School Young Women Since 1993, Bryn Mawr's Writing for College program prepares high school young women - rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates - to write well for college in a program that is intensive, supportive and fun.
Science for College: Hands on Preparation for College Science This interdisciplinary program is designed for students who are interested in analyzing our natural world and better understanding science as an interplay of language, experiments, and processing information to discover new concepts.
Women of Distinction: Personalizing the College Admissions Process Through interactive workshops and personality assessment tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, students will gain a better understanding of themselves and what is important to them in selecting a college.

- Carnegie Mellon Pre-College Programs
- Six-week program for HS Juniors and Seniors (only), offering an opportunity to earn college credit, meet people from all over the country, and enjoy special recreational activities. Includes:
The Summer Academy for Mathematics and Science (SAMS) Sponsored by Carnegie Mellon Action Project (CMAP), this is a rigorous six-week residential summer experience designed to attract students with diverse backgrounds who are considering careers in engineering, science and other math-based disciplines.* Pre-College Fine Arts Programs Each school within the College of Fine Arts offers a summer program. Students can explore an area and determine their level of interests for further study at the college level, students can experience a serious studio- or conservatory-based program in the following areas: architecture, art, design, drama or music. * No tuition, housing or dining fees for students attending the Summer Academy for Mathematics and Science. - Cornell University, Summer College
- This program offers three and six week sessions. Students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of college courses within their area of interest. Coursework is covered within an intensive summer schedule and classes may include Cornell University undergraduate students. Within the six-week program, students participate in a career exploration seminar where they can learn more about a major or career field of interest. Sophomore or Junior/Senior Programs: Looks for students with superior academic ability, maturity, and intellectual curiosity. The programs are appropriate for students planning to major in any subject or pursue any career.

- The Pre-College Program offers a series of seminars and workshops that introduce students to the college experience. - Education Unlimited
- College Admission Prep Camp - The Prep Camps are a way to have a great time on a college campus while getting a head start on the college admissions process. The program entails SAT/PSAT prep, essay writing, time management, study skills, and guidance counseling.
Computer Camp - The program trains students in both creative and practical computer skills with the goal of providing students with the ability to use computers artistically and creatively while exploring emerging technologies and software.

- Fordham University's Pre-College Summer Program
- This is an excellent opportunity for serious students to get a head start on their post-high school academic careers. Students take a college course for credit, with the additional option of attending special free workshops on strategies in preparing for the college admission and application process.

- Georgetown University, Georgetown Summer College
- Three programs are offered: the College Prep program, a pre-collegiate program which helps prepare students for college level study; the Summer College for High School Juniors, in which rising seniors may take up to two college courses from the summer session curriculum for credit. International Relations for High School Students, a one-week institute dealing with politics and current affairs with distinguished speakers and activities in the Washington, DC area.

- George Washington University, Summer Scholar Programs
- High school juniors while will have completed 11th grade by this summer and who have a demonstrated record of academic achievement, are selected to participate in this 6-week residential pre-college program. Program participants enroll in a course of choice taken with undergraduate students. Courses are taught at Foggy Bottom and the Mount Vernon campus, where Summer Scholars reside. Scholars engage in an intensive program of study that infuses intellectual pursuit with programs that introduce them to scholarly communities and the cast resources of a major university. The challenging courses, independent living environment, and the university's urban setting require students who demonstrate academic readiness, self-sufficiency and the maturity necessary for balancing competing academic and social demands.

- Johns Hopkins Pre-College Summer Programs
- Each summer, Johns Hopkins University welcomes over 400 high school students to our Homewood campus in Baltimore, Maryland. The Krieger School of Arts and Sciences' Office of Summer Programs sponsors four academic programs each specially designed for high school students. All programs offer college credit and supervised on-campus housing. The Johns Hopkins Pre-College Program and Discover Hopkins Programs are your chance to put Hopkins to the test before applying to college. You'll get an opportunity to see if Hopkins feels right for you, and we'll get to know you better, too. The Pre-College and Discover Hopkins Programs credits also give you an edge on the competition when you do begin applying to colleges.

- Lehman College Now
- College Now prepares high school students for college by providing enrichment workshops and access to credit-bearing college-level courses. Through College Now, high school students get an early introduction to the college environment and a jump start on college coursework. By participating in the College Now program, you can reduce the time for earning the college degree and the cost of getting a college education. In addition, the courses you take, regardless of the level, will help you do better in high school. College Now reinforces the skills you need to progress toward promotion, graduation, and enhanced performance on Regents examinations.

- A six-week, nonresidential program for students who will enter their junior or senior year of high school in fall 2006. Students earn up to 8 college credits and experience academic life at NYU. - Pratt Institute, Pre-College Summer Program
- The Pre-College Program is an intensive college experience in art, design, creative writing, cultural studies and architecture disciplines, where a student can earn up to 4 college credits. Pratt combines academic excellence with hands-on studio work. The highly structured curriculum, modeled after Pratt's B.F.A. program, includes four mandatory courses: an elective of choice (2 credits), a foundation course (2 credits), an art history appreciation course, and a portfolio development course.

- Putney School Summer Programs
- Located on an idyllic hilltop in Southern Vermont, The Putney School
Summer Programs offer a broad range of workshops in the visual arts, performing arts, and creative writing for rising freshmen to rising seniors. Students choose one morning workshop and one afternoon workshop or one full-day workshop for each three-week session. Evening activities provide a further opportunity to work creatively.
The Putney School offers a close-knit community, removed from the urban environment, where students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the arts, writing and music. Additionally, we offer international students English Language classes in our Program for International Education program.

- Discovery Institutes: The inspiring three-week Discovery Institutes programs are open to current high school sophomores and juniors. Summer 2004 Philosophy and Creative Writing Discovery Institutes encourage analytical thinking, creativity, and construction debate while students explore Stanford's academic and social life. - Thomas More Collegiate Summer program for High School Students
- For thirty years the Collegiate Summer Program for High School Students has introduced participants to the same spirit of liberal arts education that animates the college. In less than two weeks, this program conveys, in miniature, the full range of the enterprise of education. It takes seriously the individual participants, recognizing that all are capable of achievement beyond what they have come to expect--that each has a unique work in life to discover and complete. Students engage in courses including Literature, Philosophy, and American Political Tradition.

- University of Notre Dame Pre-College Experience
- Summer Experience is a special opportunity for academically outstanding high school students to explore one of six exciting fields of study. For two weeks, participants will live the full life of a Notre Dame student - academically, socially, and spiritually. While in class, some of Notre Dame's finest faculty members will engage their students in academic courses and fieldwork. At the same time, students will experience the social and spiritual connections that come with residence hall life at Notre Dame. Living in such a positive atmosphere, students are assured to be personally enriched through interaction with new friends and mentors.

- Yale University, Exploration Summer Program
- Students will have the opportunity to learn in an engaging, challenging, and fun college environment. Each participant will attend two three-week courses that include Visual Arts, Science, Design, Engineering, and Math, Performing Arts, and Humanities and Social Sciences. The program also includes afternoon activities such as College seminars, Princeton Review courses, and Mini Courses. Students can engage in extracurricular activities such as playing sports and exploring parts of the New Haven community.
