Linking Education and America Reads through National Service

LEARNS is a partnership created by the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (NWREL), Southern Regional Council (SRC), and the Bank Street College of Education (BSC). It provides training and technical assistance to America Reads and other Corporation for National Service projects focused on literacy and education.

Time to Read

Time To Read is Time Warner's nationwide volunteer literacy program. Started in 1985 to address the crisis of low levels of literacy among children and adults, the program now operates at 350 locations across the United States involving more than 25,000 tutors and learners. It is currently the largest corporate volunteer program in the United States.
