Recreational EnrichmentRecreational Enrichment & Cultural Activities include cooking classes, fine arts classes in several different media (watercolor, charcoal, pencil and clay), web design classes, and dance instruction. Both boys and girls are involved in a variety of sports activities. The Scholars Advisory Council (A student leadership group) is responsible for significant elements of program planning, and LPP Scholars have developed community service projects such as marching in the AIDS Walk, working with the Harlem Restoration Project to organize a thrift shop, serving as mentors to youngsters in a 4th grade class in Brooklyn, and advocating for the program in Albany.
