Alumni Partner Program

What is the Alumni Partner Program?

The Alumni Partner Program provides a simple way for new and experienced educators to work together. It is designed for

• New educators (Bank Street alums who graduated between December 2003 and July 2005) who would like to have a more experienced educator as a "buddy"
• Experienced educators (Bank Street alums who graduated prior to December 2002) who would like to volunteer to "be a buddy" to a new educator

What can the Alumni Partner Program do for you?

• New educators can benefit from the expertise and support of experienced educators.
• Experienced educators can benefit from the skills and interests of new educators.
• Both partners can expand their circle of colleagues and grow professionally

How does the Alumni Partner Program work?

To join the Alumni Partner Program, please complete the appropriate questionnaire for new or experienced alums. We will "match" a new educator with an experienced educator based on the information provided regarding geographic location, age or grade level, type of setting, etc. We will give the new educator's contact information to the experienced educator, who will then get in touch with the new educator.

The rest is up to the two of you!

Instructions for completing the questionnaire

Download the appropriate word document questionnaire, fill in your information, and then email it back as an attachment, to neweducators@bnkst.edu.
