A Message from Tony Asnes, Chair of the Presidential Search Committee

Tony Asnes As you know, Gussie Kappner has announced her decision to step down at the end of the coming year. She will leave a community that is unified and committed to Bank Street's mission and values and an institution that is stronger both programmatically and financially. Our strategic plan Timeless Values, Timely Actions, provides a solid framework for Bank Street's future and will help guide the Presidential Search Committee's work.

The search process is an opportunity to reflect on the state of the institution and imagine what the next decade might bring. It is our chance, as a community, to look at the opportunities and the challenges that stand before us and to identify the leadership qualities and characteristics that fit our mission and culture. We welcome thoughts and suggestions from all members of the Bank Street College Community - faculty, staff, student, alumni, parents and friends.
