Admissions: After School and Summer Camp

Bank Street offers rich, nurturing, and varied After-School and Extended-Day Programs. Approximately one-third of our families use the After-School Program. The cost of the program depends on the specific activity, as well as the number of times per week a child is enrolled.

The After-School Program is divided into two cycles: September through February, and February through June. Payments vary according to program. Vacation Camp is available during most school vacations, depending on volume of need.

In addition to pre-registration for the After-School Program, Drop-In Service is available daily. Monday through Thursday, 3:10 to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Special Activity Classes (5/6s and up)

These classes enable children to widen their experiences by learning new skills and developing their emerging talents. In addition, they foster individuality, as well as an awareness of social connectedness.

Summer Camp at Bank Street

Bank Street Summer Camp is a six-week program divided into two sessions. An Extended-Day Enrichment Program, as well as a Late-Day Extension Program are available for families who need childcare until 6:00 p.m.
  • Lower Camp
    Lower Camp offers programs for children ranging in age from four to eight years old. American Red Cross-certified swimming instruction is an integral part of every program. Program choices include:
    General Lower Camp (ages four through eight)
    Science and Exploration Camp (ages seven through eight)
    Visual Arts Camp (ages seven and eight)

  • Upper Camp
    Upper Camp offers programs for children ranging in age from eight to fourteen years old. The Upper Camp is divided into three age groups: Upper Camp I (ages eight and nine), Upper Camp II (ages ten to fourteen), and Upper Camp III (ages twelve to fourteen).

    The Upper Camp offers specialty camps (Sports, Performing Arts, and Travel) within each Upper Camp division in order to meet the needs of Middle School children. All groups participate in swimming, unit activities, and trips.
