Learn, play, have fun at Bank Street After School program includes Our Place on 9/17, 20, 21 and Kids Club on 9/21
Children these days, especially the urban child, are not getting enough exercise. Instead of introducing them to fitness through an organized sport, that creates imbalances and pattern overloads, the Grass Roots Fitness Project prepares children for a lifetime of movement. We offer a balanced conditioning program using a variety of drills that involve degrees of coordination to develop body awareness and motor skills. For example, participants will be asked to throw and jump using both sides of the body. Because kids are often unaware of the impact of physical activity on their life long level of health, we believe in educating young people about fitness and motivating them to be active. Our program is fun and engaging, building confidence and teamwork while setting kids on the path to an active healthy lifestyle.*Upper Schools will work separately 9 Sessions $450. Ends 12/6 with Our Place until 2/14 $555
