During this seminar, participants will learn the nitty-gritty of NAEYC Accreditation. The New NAEYC Standards and Criteria, adopted by the Academy in December 2005 encompass the components that define a high-quality early childhood environment for children, families, teachers, and administrators. The focus will include: why accreditation is important and how to begin the quality improvement process. We will also address how Quality New York can help your program in this process.
Introduction to Accreditation Seminars will take place at various locations in NYC, hosted by the Quality New York partnership. These seminars are open to any individuals interested in learning more about the benefits of becoming an NAEYC-accredited early childhood center and the accreditation process.
