Annie Schaeffing designs new initiatives across the Bank Street Education Center’s policy portfolio. In addition, she provides strategic advisement and research support for external partnerships and manages communications for the Learning Starts At Birth initiative. Annie previously focused on early childhood workforce development at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in DC and began her career as a Head Start teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. Annie holds a Master’s Degree in Education Policy from American University.
