What We Do

The SFP has three national work streams:

Establishing learning partnerships with states, providers, districts across the country to implement, refine and improve sustainable funding strategies. By building on model successes and supporting funding shifts, SFP is developing a network of early adopters who establish proof points for the work of scaling sustainably funded quality teacher preparation.

Laying the groundwork for a longer-term research agenda that will enable the field to document the processes involved with shifting to high quality preparation models and study the impacts and return on investment over time.

Working with professional, policy, and advocacy organizations around the country to build a coalition that understand the importance of high quality teacher preparation and who will help promote policies that can bring about systemic shifts at the local, state, and national levels.
