eReserves

Bank Street Library invites Graduate School faculty to learn more about eReserves, which allows students to access required readings online. The Library handles all permissions. Before You Begin

use firefox for accessing eReservesFirefox is the browser that works the best with eReserves. If you haven’t done so already, please download Firefox. Have the following handy:

  • The course page password your instructor emailed you. If you have forgotten your class eReserves password, either:
    • contact your instructor
    • ask at the reference desk for assistance
    • or call 212-875-4456.
  • If working from home, your Bank Street email address and the password associated with your account.

How to Access eReserves

  1. Click the Go to eReserves button below
  2. Click Electronic Reserves & Reserves Pages
  3. Click Course Pages by Instructor
    • From the pulldown menu select your instructor
    • Hit Search.
    • Yes, the other tabs also work but most people find the instructor tab is the easiest
  4. Check to see that you have the right class, sometimes an instructor has more than one class listed
  5. Click the Course Number hyperlink
  6. Now type in the course page password your instructor emailed you
  7. Select Accept.
  8. Click on the article you would like to read
  9. Nearly there! Click the PDF icon
  10. Read and Enjoy!
