What is Spring Camp?

Spring Camp
Spring Camp is a two week vacation program offered from March 20th to March 31st. Campers can choose to do one or both weeks. All programs have been designed to engage on an emotional, intellectual and social level with the same Bank Street Summer Camp staff kids know and love. Spring Camp is from 8:30am-3:00pm. 

Enrichement Medley is from 3:00pm - 4:30pm ($160 per week or $320 for two weeks) $35 Daily Drop-in.

Extended Day is from 4:30-6:00 ($125 per week or $250 for two weeks) $25 Daily Drop-In.

  • Pre-K to 1st Grade, Keepers of the Earth
    Developed by Bank Street's own Evi Rivera-Williams, Keepers of the Earth teaches campers how to take care of living things, such as class (and home) pets and plants. In true Bank Street experiential fashion, and with the whole child approach to learning, the care giving and learning will include observation, direct interaction, discussion, special guests and local trips. Our goal is to contribute to our campers developing connections and interactions with other living things, and their agency through these responsibilities in an interactive and dynamic camp experience.

  • Pre-K to 1st Grade, Spanish Immersion
    Developed by Bank Street's own, Shuber Naranjo, the Spring Spanish Immersion is a fully immersive program that provides the opportunity to learn, practice and reinforce the Spanish lanuage through a veriety of engaging and interactive activities. All skill levels are welcome. 

    March 20th - March 24th Spanish Immersion $725

2nd Grade to 8th Grade, 8:30am - 3:00pm

  • 2nd Grade to 8th Grade, Spring Musical Theater
    Musical Theater campers will collaborate with one another and write their own show, book, music, lyrics, and design and craft their own sets and costumes. At the end of the week, campers will perform their piece as actors, dancers, stage managers, lighting and sound designers, and musicians. Along the way, campers also learn the basic terminology of musicals and theater and work hard towards a common goal. Every camper will have an essential role in the creation of the final product. All skill levels are welcome.

  • 2nd Grade to 8th Grade, Spring Sports
    Sports is coed and focuses on campers playing a variety of team sports including basketball, soccer, capture the flag, cone collection and basketball dodge. Counselors will work with campers on building indevidual skills and total body coordination. While the program is located in Bank Street's gym, campers will also be using our many local parks such as Riverside, Morningside and Central Park, all of which are less than four blocks away. All skill levels are welcome.

  • 2nd Grade to 8th Grade, Spring S.T.E.A.M.
    S.T.E.A.M. has been designed for campers to dive into exposure, experience and experimentation within science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics both independently and in conjunction with one another. This is a none academic, educational program.
