1916 Giving Society

1916 Giving SocietyBank Street College of Education is pleased to announce the creation of the 1916 Giving Society. Named in honor of our founding year, the 1916 Giving Society will recognize philanthropic leadership of the Bank Street Annual Funds. The generosity of the Society’s members plays an essential role in sustaining our founder Lucy Sprague Mitchell’s mission—“to build a better society through education.”

The 1916 Giving Society recognizes individuals and families who make annual gifts (including matching gifts) of $1,916 or more to Bank Street College or any of its programs/divisions. Membership is renewable annually, and Bank Street’s fiscal year is from July 1 through June 30. Members will be recognized in the College’s online annual report and will receive invitations to special events.

The society celebrates donors who represent every constituency, including parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty and staff, and our many friends of the Bank Street College of Education. We thank each donor for their generosity and commitment to the students, educators, and families that Bank Street serves.
