From New York City, Rockland, Westchester, New Jersey, and Connecticut

From George Washington Bridge
Cross the bridge, preferably on the upper deck. From either the upper or lower deck, take the first exit, to Palisades Interstate Parkway. Travel north on the Parkway. Take Exit 16 from left lane.* At first fork, take Tiorati Brook Road, to the right. Wind through the mountains for several miles.

Two hundred meters past the dam of Lake Tiorati a white sign on the right indicates driveway to Workshop, downslope to the left. The large stone building is the Tiorati Workshop. [April through November]

From Tappan Zee Bridge
Cross the Tappan Zee Bridge on New York State Thruway. Take Exit 13N to the Palisades Interstate Parkway.Travel north on the Parkway. Take Exit 16 from left lane.* At first fork, take Tiorati Brook Road, to the right. Wind through the moun tains for several miles.

Winter Access from the South
Travel north on Palisades Interstate Parkway. Pass Exit 16, a Park Visitors' Center, and Anthony Wayne Recreation Area.

Take Exit 18 from the left lane toward US 6 and Long Mountain Parkway. At the traffic circle, take Seven Lakes Parkway west, toward Sloatsburg.Pass Silver Mine Ski Area on left. Next traffic circle is Tiorati Circle. Take Tiorati Brook road which is to your left as you enter the traffic circle. After 0.9 mile a white sign on the left indicates a driveway downslope to the right. Tiorati Workshop is large stone building.



From Orange, Ulster, Northern Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Other Points North

From Bear Mountain Bridge
Cross the bridge going west. Travel south on Palisades Interstate Parkway. Take Exit 18 to US 6 in right lane. At the traffic circle, take Seven Lakes Parkway west, toward Sloatsburg. Pass Silver Mine Ski Area on left. Next traffic circle is Tiorati Circle. Take Tiorati Brook road which is to your left as you enter the traffic circle. After 0.9 mile a white sign on the left indicates a driveway downslope to the right. Tiorati Workshop is large stone building.

From Goshen, Pine Bush, and Washingtonville
Travel on U.S. 6/Rt. 17 east. Follow U.S. 6/Rt. 17 as they leave the highway at Exit 131. At the head of the ramp, U.S. 6/Rt. 17 turn right. At a traffic light shortly down the road, U.S. 6 separates from Rt. 17, to turn left and go over Long Mountain Parkway. Continue on U.S. 6, over the mountain, until a traffic circle, where U.S. 6 intersects with Seven Lakes Parkway. Take Seven Lakes Parkway west, toward Sloatsburg. Pass Silver Mine Ski Area on left. Next traffic circle is Tiorati Circle. Take Tiorati Brook road which is to your left as you enter the traffic circle. After 0.9 mile a white sign on the left indicates a driveway downslope to the right. Tiorati Workshop is large stone building.

From Albany and the New York State Thruway
Traveling south on New York State Thruway, take Exit 16 to Harriman. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Follow U.S. 6, eastbound.

Travel on U.S. 6 east toward Bear Mountain. Over mountain, at traffic circle, take Seven Lakes Parkway west, toward Sloatsburg. Pass Silver Mine Ski Area on left. Next traffic circle is Tiorati Circle. Take Tiorati Brook road which is to your left as you enter the traffic circle. After 0.9 mile a white sign on the left indicates a driveway downslope to the right. Tiorati Workshop is large stone building.
