Allison Tom-Yunger

Adjunct Instructor, Guttman Center for Early Care & Education

Allison Tom-Yunger helped launch the first cohort at the Guttman Center for Early Care & Education as an Adjunct Instructor. She continues to support the program through day-to-day delivery, work with providers, and ongoing development. Allison also maintains a full time position as a Clinical Supervisor at Association to Benefit Children’s Early Childhood Therapeutic Center in the Bronx. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special and General Education from Bank Street College. She also has extensive training in trauma-based therapy models as well as relational and behavioral therapy models for children on the autism spectrum. Her primary focus is on strengthening child-caregiver attachment and increasing reflective practice to improve well-being within homes, early childhood programs, and communities.
