Aparna Muralidharan is Chief Operating Officer at Bank Street College, where she oversees central supports and operations including budget and finance, human resources, information technology, and facilities.
Previously, Aparna served as Chief Financial Officer for the College and was responsible for the strategic financial planning and routine management and US GAAP reporting for the College. Prior to joining Bank Street, Aparna served as Vice President of Risk and Compliance at Teach For America. In that role, she drove operational transformations across the organization. She worked with leadership to strengthen the organization to drive operational efficiency, compliance, risk mitigation, and long-term sustenance. Aparna brings with her a comprehensive background in education and non-profit financial experience, strategy, and risk management.
Aparna is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with professional experience in diverse cultural contexts, industries, and mission-driven organizations. She passionately believes in the potential of education to positively transform the life of a child.
