Crystal Herrera (she/her) is the associate director of equity and implementation for the Center on Culture, Race & Equity. Before joining Bank Street, Crystal served as an operations consultant for various social justice, equity-focused organizations and small businesses providing thought partnership and execution of systems designed to prioritize the care of communities. Her commitment to anti-racism and disrupting inequities in her work transcends into her home as she is intentional about nurturing a liberating space for her and her two kids. Crystal is a graduate of Columbia University, where she studied ethnicity and race with a focus on cultural productions.
