Elana Almaguer is a head teacher at Bank Street Head Start and has been teaching there since 2015. As an educator, Elana’s goal is to motivate all children to realize their strengths and abilities in a stimulating learning environment. She is sensitive to the needs of all of her students and continuously strives to build their confidence and model an enthusiasm for learning. Her experience includes 16 years of teaching at the pre-K level. Elana holds an MS in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College and a New York State Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2).
