Prior to joining CCRE, Emily was a Senior Project Associate with the Technical Assistance Center on Disproportionality (TAC-D) at New York University’s Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools (Metro Center). Emily was a Special Education Consultant with Newark Public Schools, an Adjunct Professor at the City College of the City University of New York (CUNY), and a Special Education Teacher Trainer and Coach while at CUNY and Rutgers. Emily still believes her most complicated and critical work was as a Special Education teacher in the Citywide District 75 for the New York City Department of Education.
