Katie Wassel, GSE ’10, is the director of the Center for Emotionally Responsive Practice at Bank Street College. Katie graduated from Bank Street College in 2010 and has taught for 18 years in early childhood classrooms across New York City, California, and New Jersey. Katie deeply integrated ERP into her teaching practice as she believes all children deserve to feel safe and she views education as social justice work.
