Lara Seligman

Adjunct Instructor, Guttman Center

Lara has worked with children and families in a range of settings including their homes, schools, and community-based programs as a therapist, developmental evaluator, and consultant. She has worked as a consultant in classrooms, 1:1 with providers, and has developed and implemented training programs. Lara holds master’s degrees in social work from Columbia School of Social Work and in early childhood general and special education from Bank Street College. She is a licensed clinical social worker and early childhood general and special educator with extensive training in relational and developmental models of thinking and intervention. Lara is thrilled to be part of the Guttman Center for Early Care and Education as an Adjunct instructor, particularly because of the program’s unique focus on educators and commitment to building a network of supporting educators.
