K-12 Math Education
Our Work In Action
Our K–12 Math Education team partners with schools and districts to co-create math learning environments where all students can thrive. Through hands-on programs, equity-driven networks, and student-centered instructional models, these case studies highlight what our work looks like in action—and the meaningful impact it has on students, educators, and communities.
- High 5s: A game-based small group supplemental math program designed by Bank Street to build on children’s natural developmental progression in math skills and support students at many levels through hands-on interactive experiences.
- D3 Math and Racial Equity: A partnership supporting select math classrooms in New York City’s Community School District 3 in growing math learning environments and experiences that provide all students access to learning math with understanding and developing problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Brooklyn South Network for School Improvement (BKS NSI): A network of teachers, school leaders, and district leaders across two districts (17 & 18) representing 21 middle schools engaging in continuous improvement with a focus in improving outcomes in middle grade mathematics for Black, Latinx and students experiencing poverty.
- Yonkers Network for School Improvement (YPS NSI): A network of teachers, school leaders, and district leaders across 23 middle schools engaging in continuous improvement with a focus in improving outcomes in middle grade mathematics for Black, Latinx and students experiencing poverty.
