Jarrid Tingle
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Harlem Capital
Jarrid Tingle is an entrepreneur and philanthropist dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities that drive lasting change. He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Harlem Capital, a venture capital firm with $225 million in assets that invests in diverse, next-generation entrepreneurs. Through Harlem Capital, Jarrid is helping redefine the face of entrepreneurship. He serves on the boards of the National Venture Capital Association and Tech:NYC and is a Grid Fellow. Jarrid earned his MBA from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar and graduated cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His achievements have been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Inc. 30 Under 30, and Ebony Power 100.

Michele Cahill
Senior Advisor
XQ Institute
Michele Cahill is the senior advisor at XQ Institute, where she leads the nation’s largest effort to reimagine high schools. Since 2015, she has spearheaded the development of XQ’s learner outcomes and school design principles to transform secondary education. Previously, as vice president at Carnegie Corporation, Cahill co-chaired the commission behind the influential Opportunity Equation report. As Senior Counselor to NYC Schools Chancellor Joel Klein, she led the “Children First” high school reforms, designing over 200 new small schools—an initiative that resulted in a historic 20-point gain in graduation rates. With deep roots in youth development, Cahill founded the Youth Development Institute and the NYC Beacons Initiative. She was honored with the US Department of Education’s Mina Shaughnessy Award for her innovative work teaching nontraditional students at St. Peter’s College. She holds BA and MA degrees in Urban Studies and was a Revson Fellow at Columbia University.
