Event Title:
“Transforming School Systems: A Decade of Impact | Meeting the Moment: A Culturally Responsive Approach to Building Relationships in Schools”

Description:
Bank Street Education Center is hosting a free webinar series in celebration of our 10th anniversary, highlighting how partnerships from each of our four portfolios—including Early Childhood Education; Responsive Design; Culture, Race, and Equity; and K-12 Math Education—have supported educators in better addressing the needs of all students.

The third session, titled “Meeting the Moment: A Culturally Responsive Approach to Building Relationships in Schools,” will be led by our Culture, Race, and Equity team, who will explore how we are all socialized into a culture that guides how we process information and connect with and learn from one another. The team will examine how culture shows up in schools and share implications for designing and cultivating inclusive student and adult learning environments.
