Before joining the Liberty LEADS team, Marisol worked for over 30 years at the New York Public Library (NYPL). During her time there, Marisol understood the importance of connecting with the library branches and made it a point to visit in order to get a better sense of the needs. While with the NYPL, Marisol applied for grants and submitted reports to agencies and corporations. She received a BA from the City University of New York Brooklyn College.
