In recognition of our 55th annual celebration of books for children and teens, BookFest @ Bank Street will feature a series of events throughout the 2026–27 academic year.
Leonard S. Marcus, children’s literature historian, will join us for our first event in the series titled “Dial ‘B’ for Biography: My Quest for Margaret Wise Brown.” The presentation will explore the research and writing process behind his award-winning biography titled Margaret Wise Brown: Awakened by the Moon.
