Description:
The Center for Children’s Literature at Bank Street College of Education is thrilled to virtually present its third mini-conference focusing on Latinx Children’s Literature. This year’s program will focus on Mexican-American themes and authors. David Bowles, recipient of the Bank Street Children’s Book Committee’s 2019 Claudia Lewis Award for Poetry for They Call me Güero as well as two Pura Belpré honors, will be our keynote speaker.
