Event Title:
Rebuilding the Early Care & Education System With Equity at the Center

Description:
With staggering disruption in the child care sector, the COVID-19 pandemic presents a generational opportunity to rebuild early child care with equity at the center. How we choose to do so is a question we must answer before we can secure a brighter future for all children and the child care workforce, especially for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.

Join Capita and Bank Street College of Education for a conversation with the authors of the recent essay, “Rebuilding the Early Care and Education System with Equity at The Center,” which contains a set of five recommendations for states and policy leaders as they redesign our nation’s early care and education system in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. Additional perspectives on our recommendations are featured in a recent Medium piece.

We encourage you to join the conversation on Twitter by tagging @bankstreetedu and @capita_social and adding the hashtag #LearningStartsAtBirth.
