How to WiFi Print From an iPhone and iPad

Open the Document You Want to Print on Your Device

Make sure you are on Bank Street’s WiFi network (i.e., student). In this post I am printing a Google doc from an iPhone XS. Look for a way to share your document, look for three small dots on the top right hand corner of your screen, or depending on the app it may be a small square box with an arrow pointing up. Sometimes an app may not permit printing at all.

Share & Export

Next, look for the Share & export > option

Select Print

From the < Share & export option choose Print.

Select the byod virtual printer

Select the byod virtual printer as your copier. At the bottom of the screen you’ll see a preview of what you are about to print. It’s possible to:

  • print everything (remove the check mark from pages you don’t want printed)
  • make more than one copy
  • choose either color or Black & White
  • print double-sided
  • select a paper size (for most jobs the default Letter is fine).

When everything looks good hit Print.

Walk Over to One of Our Copiers and…

Activate a printer to release your print job. Either tap the copier of your choice with your ID card, or pull out the printer’s keyboard and type in your full Bank Street email address and the password associated with your account.
