Use Research Databases

Login Credentials

To login to the databases from home, all you need is your Bank Street email address and the password associated with it. A few select courses will have their own access code (your instructor will let you know). If there are issues with your Bank Street email address, please contact the IT Helpdesk 212-875-4642.

Search Everything

We recommend graduate students and faculty use the Search Everything function on the Library’s homepage. This allows you to search:

  • all the databases that the Library subscribes to, e.g., EBSCOhost and ProQuest
  • the Library’s book catalog.

Individual Databases

If you prefer to search single databases, e.g., Academic Search Premiere, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and ERIC, find links and suggestions on our dedicated Research Database Page or click the links below.
