Keeping The City Going
Written by Brian Floca

A tribute to the essential workers – from health care providers to first responders – on whom everyone depended during the COVID pandemic. Exquisitely rendered watercolor art.

Our Young Reviewer Says:

Book Cover of Keeping the City Going“My favorite part was the people in the drawings. The drawings looked really good. I liked the part where they were cheering at 7 o’clock because it looks like fun to do with pots and pans and real instruments. (I just used my voice to cheer out of my window).

I didn’t like that there weren’t many people shown on the street because more people are on the street now in New York City. The book is special because it’s unique… because it’s about a unique time in New York City.”
